This Privacy Policy explains what information Postmilo collects, why we use it, when we share it, and the choices available to you.

In short

Postmilo uses account, profile, preference, content, usage, and payment-status information to provide the Service. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not ask you to submit patient records or sensitive health information.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to personal information handled by Postmilo through our websites, Meta Messenger experiences, content tools, shared articles, membership features, support channels, and related services (the “Service”).

It does not govern Meta, social networks, payment processors, or other third-party services that operate under their own privacy policies. The Terms of Service govern your use of Postmilo.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

We collect information you choose to provide, including your name, profile image, bio, phone number, links, brands and topics, content selections, article edits, images, membership choices, survey or feedback responses, and support communications.

Information from Meta Messenger

When you interact with Postmilo through Meta Messenger, we may receive your Page-scoped identifier, the relevant Page identifier, interaction and referral information, timestamps, and profile information such as a display name or profile image when Meta makes it available and permits us to use it. We use this information to create or reconnect the correct Postmilo account, deliver requested experiences, and protect account integrity.

Usage, device, and log information

We may collect IP address, browser and device type, operating system, language, referring page, pages or features used, actions taken, timestamps, session identifiers, cookie information, error logs, and security events. Public browsing does not by itself create a Postmilo user account.

Membership and transaction information

If you purchase membership, a payment provider may collect your payment-card and billing information. Postmilo may receive your selected plan, billing period, amount, currency, taxes, payment status, renewal status, transaction identifier, limited payment-method details, and related support or dispute information. We do not need to store your full payment-card number.

Public article activity

When someone opens a shared Postmilo article or uses a public contact or profile link, we may record aggregate views and clicks. Article owners may see summary counts, but Postmilo does not provide them with reader identities or individual visit histories through article statistics.

3. Sensitive and health information

Postmilo is a content tool, not a medical records or patient-management service. Do not submit patient records, diagnoses tied to an identifiable person, insurance information, biometric identifiers, protected health information, or other sensitive health information.

If you include personal information about someone else in your profile or content, you are responsible for having the permission and lawful basis required to do so.

4. How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • create, reconnect, secure, and support your Postmilo account;
  • provide content recommendations based on your selected brands and topics;
  • prepare, save, personalize, and share posts, articles, images, and public profile information at your direction;
  • provide Free and paid membership features, process transactions, and maintain billing status;
  • deliver requested service messages and Messenger entry experiences;
  • measure aggregate usage, diagnose errors, improve performance, and develop the Service;
  • prevent fraud, spam, abuse, unauthorized access, and violations of our Terms;
  • respond to questions, requests, disputes, and support needs; and
  • comply with law, enforce agreements, and protect users, Postmilo, and others.

We may create aggregated or de-identified information that cannot reasonably identify you and use it for analytics, research, security, and product improvement.

5. How we share information

We may share personal information in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers. We use hosting, storage, database, security, analytics, communications, customer-support, and other service providers. They may process information only to provide services to Postmilo and under appropriate confidentiality and security obligations.
  • Meta and connected services. We exchange information with Meta Messenger and other services when needed to operate a connection or complete an action you request.
  • Payment providers. We share transaction information needed to process, confirm, refund, secure, or support a membership payment.
  • At your direction or publicly. Information you choose to place on a public profile or shared article can be viewed by people with access to that page. You control whether to publish or share content.
  • Legal and safety reasons. We may disclose information when we reasonably believe it is necessary to comply with law or legal process, investigate misuse, enforce our agreements, or protect rights, safety, and security.
  • Business changes. Information may be disclosed as part of a financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar transaction, subject to appropriate protections.

We do not sell your personal information. We also do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising as those terms are defined by applicable state privacy laws.

6. Cookies and analytics

Postmilo may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember settings, protect the Service, understand aggregate usage, and diagnose performance. Some technologies are necessary for the Service to work; others may support analytics.

You can control cookies through your browser. Blocking necessary storage may prevent sign-in, preferences, or other features from working correctly. If we introduce advertising or non-essential tracking that requires additional choice, we will update this Policy and provide the controls required by law.

7. Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain your account, complete transactions, preserve content you choose to keep, meet legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and enforce agreements.

Retention periods vary by data type and purpose. Account and profile information is generally kept while your account is active. Transaction records may be kept for tax, accounting, fraud, and legal periods. Security logs and backups are retained for limited operational periods. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it, subject to lawful exceptions and backup cycles.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including access controls, secure communications, logging, and protections provided by our infrastructure vendors.

No system or transmission method is completely secure. You are responsible for protecting access to your Messenger and Postmilo sessions and for notifying us if you suspect unauthorized access.

9. Your choices and controls

Depending on the feature, you may review or change your profile, brands and topics, public links, content, Messenger preferences, membership renewal, and other settings in the Service. You may also request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of certain personal information by contacting support@postmilo.com.

We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Deleting your Postmilo account does not remove posts you published on social networks, information retained by another person, or records we must keep for legal, security, payment, or dispute purposes.

10. U.S. state privacy rights

Depending on where you live and subject to applicable law, you may have rights to know or access personal information, correct inaccurate information, delete information, obtain a portable copy, and appeal a denied request. Some states also provide rights to opt out of sale, targeted advertising, or certain profiling.

Postmilo does not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising as described above. You may exercise an applicable right by emailing support@postmilo.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right. An authorized agent may submit a request where state law permits, subject to verification.

11. Service and marketing communications

We may send service communications needed to operate your account, respond to requests, deliver content you asked for, provide billing or security notices, and communicate material changes. These messages are part of the Service and may be delivered through Messenger or another contact method available to your account.

You may opt out of promotional communications using the instructions in the message or by contacting support. Opting out of marketing does not stop essential account, payment, security, or legal notices. Messenger communications are also subject to Meta’s controls and policies.

12. Children’s privacy

The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to Postmilo, contact support@postmilo.com so we can review and delete it as appropriate.

13. Processing location

Postmilo is designed to serve customers in the United States. Postmilo and its service providers may process information where they operate, subject to applicable law.

14. Changes and contact

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the Service, our practices, or law. The updated Policy will show a new effective date. If applicable law requires additional notice or consent for a change, we will provide it.

For privacy questions or requests, contact support@postmilo.com.
